This class introduces and incorporates the fifth limb of Yoga – Pratyahara which helps to conserve your energy and quiet the mind. This is achieved via gentle exercises helping you tune into your sense of vision and making it your dominant sense, rather than habitual mind chatter being your dominant sese. By gradually and gently stopping your attention from flowing outward toward external distractions, the default mode network (our habitual thought patterns) is disrupted which allows space for peace and relaxation to seep in.
Physically this class is an all-round class with no one particular body area the focus, and it’s suitable for all levels.
